Visitors can admire the country's natural beauty with national parks such as Białowieża Forest and the Tatra Mountains, or explore the cities’ historical architectures. Kraków is a city packed with sights, such as Wawel Castle and St Mary’s Basilica, as well as lively streets that are full of bars and cafes. Other notable cities in Poland include Warsaw and Gdansk. Aside from the urban attractions, Poland has plenty of other attractions with its stunning natural landscapes, such as Bialka Tatrzańska, where visitors can ski and hike year-round; or Wilanów Palace – a baroque-style residence built in 1677 by King Jan III Sobieski. Lastly, no trip to Poland would be complete without visiting one of its many charming lakeside towns. In Zakopane you can try local cuisine in traditional restaurants or soak up the tranquillity of lake Łysoń while taking in stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
